Craniosacral Therapy in Santa Cruz, Berkeley, and the Bay Area
Craniosacral Therapy is a soothing, noninvasive, hands-on therapy. The craniosacral system includes the brain, the cerebrospinal fluid, the system of membranes inside the cranium, all 22 cranial bones, the spine and the sacrum.
The Craniosacral Therapy Experience
I provide Craniosacral Therapy in the Bay Area, mainly Berkeley and Santa Cruz.
The treatment is done on a massage table or massage mat and the client is dressed. Gentle and specific holds around the pelvis, spine, neck and head reveal your craniowave, guiding Erin toward your unwinding patterns and a deep state of relaxation.
Erin is skillfully listening and working with the cranio waves and the maps of myofascial tissue to restore the balance of all systems in the body. Erin holds a comfortable and safe space for any release of emotion or blocked energy. This intention alongside the techniques encourages a process of letting go of old traumas and stuck holding patterns while optimizing your nervous system.
The result is a very deep state of consciousness where powerful healing can occur. The subtle and precise techniques around head and face are great for jaw tension, migraines and tension headaches, nervous system disorders, hyperactive mind and lack of clarity.
Erin continues to study with a professional group of practitioners in the Bay Area and her main teacher Hugh Milne of the Milne Institute. The difference between Visionary Craniosacral Work and other craniosacral modalities is the emphasis on strengthening the intuitive process of the practitioner.
